I just got fined 3000HRK for driving on a red light, and they took my license which they said I could get back after 12 hours. They seemed to be a bit confused when it came to the paper work as I'm a non EU citizen with a temporary permit in Croatia. They wanted me to sign a piece of paper, and they said it didn't matter if I signed or not as it was just a formality.
I will stay in Croatia for one more year before my studies are done. What happens if I don't pay? Will they refuse my graduation? I also have an apartment here, can they take that one?
